Educating students on ethics, to differentiate between right and wrong and motivating them to choose the right path is imperative. Ms. Rashmi Deshpande

Ms. Rashmi Deshpande is devoted to the progress of Vidyalankar. With her philanthropic attitude and her keen interest in the personal development of every single person associated with Vidyalankar: she is naturally as much loved as she is respected. After her M.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, she went to the U.S.A. for higher education and completed her M.B.A. Because of her professional background in management studies, she is naturally and particularly inclined towards enriching the Vidyalankar Group of Institutions.

Mr. Milind Tadvalkar

Mr. Milind Tadvalkar is the Director, Vidyalankar Dnyanapeeth Trust. He completed his LTM (Licentiate of Textile Manufactures) and Bachelor of Textile Technology from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), bagged the first rank on both the occasions and won awards for academic excellence. He has M. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi with an excellent academic record.

Mr. Milind has a rich blend of academic, managerial and consultancy experience. Before joining Vidyalankar, he worked at VJTI, Mumbai for 10 years as teaching faculty. He has successfully handled a number of challenging technical projects on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra, in addition to fulfilling his professional responsibilities.

Welcome to the website of Vidyalankar Polytechnic. Well-anchored on the principles of committed academic pursuit and participative culture, the Institute is progressing rapidly as the preferred destination for engineering and management aspirants. Our students have scripted many vibrant accomplishments in the decade and a half following its inception in 1999. The initiation of PhD, ME and MMS programs has reinforced the Institute’s image as a centre for higher learning and research. We lay great emphasis on offering value-based education and inculcating corporate ethics in the teaching-learning process.

We constantly strive to make our curriculum world class by integrating the latest advances in technology and business to prepare our students to face the challenges of the contemporary competitive environment. We, at Vidyalankar, believe in nurturing and generating industry-ready professionals, research scholars and proficient entrepreneurs by infusing the right blend of technological expertise, professional acumen andsocial sensitivity in academics. While stressing on the urgent need for generating indigenous and appropriate technology, at the same time I would like to remind them of Albert Einstein’s words: “Concern for man and his fate must always form the chief interest of all technical endeavours. Prof. Ashish Anant Ukidve

Prof. Ashish Anant Ukidve, the principal of Vidyalankar Polytechnic holds his BE (First Class with honors) and ME (Distinction-2005) in Electronics from Mumbai University. He received Merit Prize from Maharashtra Board for scoring 100% in SSC Mathematics paper. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor – CISA (ISACA – USA) (2006). He is an ISO-27001:2005 (ISMS) Auditor – 2008. Prof.Ukidve is DTE Approved GDPI panel member for MMS Course at L.N. Welingkar Management Institute, Matunga Mumbai. He is visiting Faculty member for Management Institute (AIIMS, Mumbai) for MMS Course since last four years. Prof.Ukidve is Life Member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) as well as Life Member of Computer Society of India (CSI). And carried out consultations and audits out of India – eg. SOX Audit at Tokyo, Japan.Currently he is pursuing his Doctoral Program. Prof. Ukidve has authored several books and continues his pursuit of excellence in the field of engineering and technology.

Vidyalankar Polytechnic started its journey in the year 2002, with the aim of providing quality technical education to the students who aspire to become skilled engineers.

We, at Vidyalankar, provide a warm, caring, stimulating and challenging environment in which our students learn and develop. We aim to provide an education which explores and strengthens the potential which is innate in every individual but awaiting expression.

In order to do so, we seek to provide an environment which enriches the intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical development of the students in an atmosphere that is happy and nurturing. Emphasis is thus placed on developing fundamentals and skills of engineering subjects, promoting personality development, building a sense of responsibility and ultimately securing a strong sense of self.

Students who thrive in academic environment of our institute are also exposed to state of the art information on upcoming technologies from various sources such as expert lectures, webinars, media and industry-institute interaction.

A dedicated team of teachers, administrative staff and a management with great vision, form a unified team making endeavors to transform the young ones into a skilled professional having knowledge, energy, strength, and create a catalytic force to metamorphose the social fabric.

Social Initiatives

Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for Waste Water Generated at Campus

Vidyalankar is environmentally conscious and has installed its own STP (Sewage treatment Plant) to take care of waste water generated at campus

Composting Plant for the Wet Waste from Canteen

Vidyalankar supports the idea of clean and green campus and therefore dustbins are installed at proper distance covering the entire campus to prevent littering of waste.

Installation of e-Waste Collection Bin, e-Waste Collection Drives at Vidyalankar

Institute makes efforts to minimize e-waste. Non-working computers, monitors and printers are discarded on a systematic basis. 70% of monitors used by Institute are LCD to reduce e-waste.

Cleanliness Drive at Dadar Chowpati

Vidyalankar Polytechnic organizes “Cleanliness Drive at Dadar Chowpati“ after every Ganesh Visarjan.

Say No to Plastic

Vidyalankar Polytechnic had organized "Say No to plastic " activity. In this students were taught how to cut and stich the cloth bags. The idea was to make our students aware about the plastic problem and in a way to save environment.

Help to Kolhapur Flood Victims

Vidyalankar Polytechnic along with our students took a foot forward to help the Kolhapur district flood victims.
